TOPIC: Field visit to Malham area

Seb Mankelow, National Trust Ranger, has kindly agreed to lead a field visit to Malham to identify birds by song and sight.

We are planning to meet at 8.00 a.m. at Malham Tarn, the Water House Office on 19th May.

Grid  SD 886674. (Home farm on the map)

We can car share as people like. Let me know if you need a lift. Leave AUSTWICK 7.30am prompt.

Last year Seb led a superb field visit at Buckden. It is great that he is willing to support us again.

(Sorry, no dogs please)

This is a must for anyone interested in birds.

Contact Sally for further details.

Please tell Sally by May 5th if you intend to come, or are very likely to come, if we do not have sufficient people we cannot expect Seb to come from Richmond. However I do not expect to have to cancel.

We intend to collect donations for the National Trust on the day but AFLHS will pay his expenses and add something to it if necessary.
