18 Jan Conservation of caves and potholes. How can we help to protect and conserve? Andrew Hinde. Cave conservation advisor based in Ingleborough National Nature Reserve.
15 Feb Ash dieback in the Yorkshire Dales.

An illustrated talk about the spread of the disease.

15 March Early wills of Ribblesdale and Ingleton. The talk concerns projects undertaken to transcribe the wills and inventories for Parishes in North Craven. Mike Slater.
19 April Trouble at t’mill. The Yorkshire Weavers riots of 1826 that spread through the local mills. George Ingle.
13 May Field visit in the Buckden area. Identify birds from their song and visual observation.

A follow up field visit is to be arranged in Oxenber woods.

19 July Visit to Browsholme Hall near Clitheroe. This is a Grade 1 listed Elizabethan house in the parish of Bowland Forest. Cost £8.

Tour at 3pm. Gardens open at 11:30am.

20 Sept The Long Preston Big Dig from 2015 to 2016. Is there evidence to unlock Long Preston’s pre Domesday history? David Johnson.
18 Oct Markets and Supermarkets. 200 years of shopping in the North West. Mike Winstanley.
